Kicking off the fall conference season, our team members grabbed their branded gear, packed their bags and traveled to the Mortgage Industry Standards Maintenance Organization (MISMO) Summit. Held between September 24-28 at The Ritz-Carlton in McLean, VA, the event featured panels on emerging technologies within the real estate industry.
The MISMO Summit featured several themes and presentations throughout the week, including information on remote online notarization, eClosings and digitalization of the mortgage process. We’re passionate about our commitment to deliver FinTech solutions and smarter lending processes and had the opportunity to speak on two panels during the summit: Emerging Technology and Emerging Technology Workshop. Nexsys Technologies team members shared their expertise on these hot topics.
In the Emerging Technology panel, Renee Alberty, our General Counsel and HousingWire 2018 Women of Influence winner, discussed which types of technologies could fit specific business needs. The goal of the panel was to share strategies to identify different types of tech and which products can be used in the future. At Nexsys Technologies, our products digitize the traditional paper closing experience, and we’re honored to share our perspective on how we shaped our business goals based on needs.
The Emerging Tech Workshop detailed more specific technologies: Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning. Josh Koppang, a Technology Team Leader, moderated the panel discussion that defined these types of tech and how they can be used for a positive consumer experience. Our team is dedicated to developing technologies that will result in better and faster closings.
We’re excited for the future of FinTech and ready to demo our products that create a faster and more efficient closing experience for everyone. We’re honored to be a part of MISMO and help define the standards for our fast-paced industry.
